If you are finding your motivation levels dropping lately, don't worry. Here are 6 tips to get your momentum back.
1 - Understand The Importance Of the Task
Some tasks are a little less than world-rockingly interesting. When a task like that is presented to you, increase your motivation by elevating their level of importance in your mind. All you have to do is choose to devote your time to the tasks at hand, in as complete and loyal a manner as possible, then strive aggressively to complete them. Has there ever been a time when you've raced the clock on a firm deadline, where you had to push yourself HARD to complete the work before your time ran out? You were successful precisely because you knew that you didn't really have much of a choice in the matter. This concept translates perfectly to any task, with no regard to how insignificant it might seem to begin with.
2 - Ignite Your Passion
Goals are forged like blades, upon the fires of those who create them and give them life. You must find what makes you passionate, and harness that fire to give your goals the liquid glow that comes from concentrated heat.
3 - Harness Your Anger
If anger has ever propelled you to action, you know that it's an emotion which gets things done. If you are angry about something, tune into that feeling and use it as fuel for your motivational fire.
4 - Get Desperate
Desperation will often act as an incredibly powerful motivator. Once you decide that your current circumstances are point-blank unacceptable, and that you'll do whatever you can to change them you may find yourself becoming unstoppable.
5 - Tap Into Your Inner Determination
Sometimes just setting your mind to a task is all it really takes to get moving toward it. By a sheer refusal to allow yourself to be continually held back by excuses and and vowing to push through any- and everything that acts like it could hold you back, you can quickly become highly productive.
6 -Become Aggressive
This tip works very well with the previous ones, and also uses a very similar strong emotion to put a little extra kick into your efforts. Being aggressive in the pursuit of our goals is easy in the beginning, but as time goes on, it can be all too easy to lose momentum.. But if you can keep that aggression, and REFUSE to allow challenges to best and deter you, you'll figure out that they are powerless to stop you and the results you attain.
Bonus Tip - Hypnosis is an excellent way to increase your motivation because it works on a subconscious level where all thoughts, feelings and behaviors originate. Pop over to http://www.yourmindzone.com/free.html and claim your FREE hypnosis recording.
